"POTATOES IN THE SKY" BY THE DAILY ROUTINE

We planted potatoes 

in the field, 

and worked hard 

and had a great meal

We work all day 

with the spade,

we work all day

to get our pay

My mother says:

love potatoes, love potatoes, love potatoes now

I have a plan for you

eat potatoes, eat potatoes, eat potatoes now 

It doesn't make a difference 

if we cook 'em or not,

we'll eat potatoes 

and we'll never be fat,

we'll eat potatoes  

and we'll never be hungry or sad

if we learn how to fry!
